HOWLEY IT was a walk in the park for the owners of a Howley restaurant raising money for charity.
Dave Watson and Paula Warburton, along with daughter Kerryn, from The White Apron on Church Street, pulled on the walking shoes to take part in A Walk in the Park at Heaton Park, Manchester to help raise money for Cafod.
It was part of a warm up for the Great Manchester Run later this month.
Dave said: “There are 10 of us running the 10k this month. Then I’m doing the New York marathon on the 1 November, so this run is a good one to keep up the training and raise money for a worthwhile cause.”
