TWO men have been left with serious facial injuries following a house party in Birchwood in the early hours of Sunday.
Police are appealing to witnesses to come forward to an altercation between a group of men that took place on the street at around 1am on Mallard Lane.
A 27-year-old man from Birchwood was assaulted and sustained serious injuries to his face that needed hospital treatment while a 30-year-old man received serious injuries to his face and arm and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, or who attended a party at a house on Mallard Lane that night, is asked to call DS Elaine Duddle at Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555111.
