A MOTORBIKE show held at The Coach and Horses raised more than £300 for charity with between 2,500 to 3,000 visitors to the Sankey Bridges venue at the event on Saturday.
Stuart Wilson, organiser of the customs and classics bike event, said: “The day went well with an awful lot of people enjoying themselves and some of the bikes can only be described as works of art.
“We had one unfortunate incident with a man who came in and stole various items.
“We alerted the police who arrested him and returned the goods but not the cash.
“I could not have done it without the help of my girlfriend Caroline and Chris and Ruth, who own the pub, and the Devils’ Bandits as well as various others who supported us with prizes.”
The pub holds a smaller show later in the year.
