A SECURITY guard was punched after stopping a youth entering the Late Shop on Knutsford Road on Wednesday night.
The 33-year-old was pushed and then punched on the right side of his face after stopping three young people entering the shop.
They were carrying alcohol.
Police are now checking CCTV in a bid to track the youngsters down.
