Titan prison latest: Straw confirms prison plan to be ditched
HOME secretary Jack Straw has confirmed the controversial Titan prison plan has been scrapped.
Speaking in the House of Commons he said no prison will be built on Omega.
And he confirmed that no other prisons would be built in the town.
The Government is no considering building more, smaller prisons with capacity of around 1,500 inmates.
