OFFICERS are continuing to work with pupils from St Gregory’s High School to engage with groups of youngsters police struggle to reach.
CSO Louise Patten has been getting youths involved with activities after school and said she has already seen a noticeable difference when speaking with youngsters on her beat area with their attitude and behaviour toward her.
CSO Steve Grady has also participated in mini CAM events at the school to build a stronger relationship with the teenagers, .
Insp Brian Heywood from Warrington West NPU said: “Youths are continuously getting bad press and are being tarred with the same brush, it is important for them to know we are committed to helping and tackling any problems they have within their communities.”
