A HUSBAND and wife will team up to take on the challenge of the London Marathon next weekend.

Holly Gregory, from Locking Stumps, will run with husband Jeff, aged 43, to raise awareness of prostate cancer.

The 35-year-old operations manager for a sales and distribution company will take part in the race on Sunday to help raise money for people affected by the disease which kills one man every hour in the UK.

She said: “I have always wanted to take part in this world famous event and I am ready for the challenge.

“My motivation to cross the finish line will be my granddad (Albert Christopher, known as Chris) who sadly passed away after living with prostate cancer for several years.

“My husband Jeff and I will be running together and we are both looking forward to our first marathon and to raising some money for a worthy cause.”

Holly is hoping to raise £2,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity. To sponsor go to justgiving.com/hollygregory
