PUPILS of Padgate High School will have half an hour less to eat their lunch as the school’s opening times are to change.
But there is a silver lining – they will get to leave earlier in return for their cut-time break.
The changes are part of a re-launch of the whole school, which will be called Lysander High School from September.
A new school uniform will also be phased in, with new pupils having to wear the new colour, as yet undecided, instead of the current green.
The rest of the school is expected to be wearing the new uniform by September 2010, a letter to parents from head teacher Alison Sherman said.
