NEW police suggestion boxes have been installed in the Longford and Greenwood areas in a pilot test to see if they work.
Residents can leave comments and suggestions for police, Stronger Together and Golden Gates Housing in the boxes under the new scheme introduced by Longford CSO Annette Lowe.
She said: “This is a great example of how various agencies are working in partnership for the good of the community.
“We want people to help shape the future of life in the area in which they live and the suggestion boxes are the ideal way for them to pass on any suggestions or comments.
“They can also leave information about issues that might be concerning them – this could be anything from problems with dog fouling, litter or speeding motorists to issues with anti-social behaviour.”
The boxes are being funded by the Safer, Stronger Communities department at Cheshire Police.
Warrington Central Community Action Team can be called on 0845 458 6379.
Anyone with information about crime can call Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.
