Bringing Ackers Pit back to life
STAFF from the Environment Agency got stuck in to Ackers Pit as part of an ongoing renovation project at the beauty spot.
The work has included de-silting the pool and introducing walkways.
Paul Blake, Frank Lythgoe and Andrew Morisse, pictured, were restocking the pit with water plants, which lies between Ackers Road and Ackers Lane earlier this month.
The scheme is funded by Environment Agency, Warrington Anglers Association and Warrington Borough Council.
