THE public toilets in Stockton Heath will not benefit from a cash boost from Warrington Borough Council.
Members of the village’s toilet working party wrote to the council to see if it would be willing to inject funds towards the overall running costs of reopening the facilities at the Forge Shopping Centre car park.
Clr Peter Walker (LD – St Thomas’ ward), told Stockton Heath Parish Council: “We plan to go back and ask them for a more considerate response.
“ We will also ask how the parish council could take over responsibility for the toilets.”
