First class opening for new post office store
BEWSEY A NEW post office has finally opened it’s doors in Bewsey, after residents were left more than two weeks without one.
The Spar store, on Lovely Lane, now incorporates the post office having taken over from the Folly Lane branch, which closed earlier this year.
The store, opposite Warrington Hospital, was closed for nine months for re-development.
The first 50 customers in the store on April 7 were given a complementary breakfast pack.
Cutting the ribbon to open the store is store manager Debbie Rowles with from left to right Carol Hampton, Sparky the SPAR Dragon, and store area manager Mark Stoddart.
