BUSINESSES in Stockton Heath have grouped together to put on a high-end fashion show on Thursday evening.

The idea was born by Joanna Kreisler, owner of Ibizaar, and childhood friend of Bobby’s auntie.

She and Heidi Turner, the owner of the Toni and Guy, decided to put on a show to raise funds for Bobby’s operation.

Tonight they will take over Cape bar in the centre of Stockton Heath village.

Special guests including Emma Rigby, Hollyoaks’ Hannah Ashworth, and Manchester City captain Richard Dunne are donating their time to the cause.

"How could anybody's heart strings not be tugged by the Baby Bobby story?” asked Emma.

“I've been following the story in the papers and on the radio so as soon as I heard about this fundraiser I jumped at the chance of getting involved, such a worthy cause. “I wish Bobby's family all the best with the treatment, and rest assured we'll do everything we can to raise as much money as possible on the night. Bring it on!" Richard Dunne will be auctioning his football shirt on the night.

“"Having just become a father myself, the new addition to my family was born just a month before baby Bobby so this story really struck a chord with me. Myself and my wife, Helen, are so proud to be able to support this appeal."

Prizes including a signed Manchester City FC shirt, tickets for a VIP box at Anfield, teeth whitening treatments, and free Warburtons bread for a year are to be raffled in the evening.

Tickets cost £7 and are available from Cape Bar, Ibizaar, Pretty Flamingo, Dolly Daydream and Toni and Guy.

The fashion show will begin at 7.30pm.
