A LITTER of bull mastiff pups hand-reared by workers at Cheshire Dogs’ Home are set to be re-homed this weekend.
Now 10 weeks old, the three brothers and three sisters were painstakingly cared for by staff at the home after their mum, Georgia, needed an emergency caesarean section shortly after coming to the Grappenhall dogs’ charity.
The pups, who are expected to grow as large as german shepherds, attracted widespread interest after featuring in a video on the Warrington Guardian website and following interviews with prospective owners, the six will go to their new homes on Saturday.
Maz Simon, one of the three staff who hand-reared the puppies, said: “They are full of fun and are adorable puppies. They have all found new homes including their mum who is going to live on a farm from Tuesday.
“It has been a great success story and we are all so pleased that it turned out to be such a good ending.”
