A NEW vision for the next 30 years of life in Warrington has been unveiled.

The One Warrington: One Future document, released by The Warrington Partnership, outlines high goals.

It states: “By 2030, Warrington will be recognised as one of the best places to live and work in the UK, where everyone enjoys an outstanding quality of life.”

Clr Keith Bland, chairman of Warrington Partnership, said: “Warrington has experienced significant growth and change over the last 30 years which has transformed the borough into the successful place it is today.

“It is already a great place to live, so we’re starting our journey from a sound platform. We want to build on this success to ensure people can enjoy a better quality of life than ever before.”

The plan has been developed following consultation with residents, businesses and other partners and sets out a long-term vision.

Agencies such as health services, police, fire service and the council will use this document to decide how and where to allocate their resources and what services to provide.
