DALLAM YOUNGSTERS turned their Easter break from a choco-a-thon to a keep fit-a-thon thanks to a children’s sports group.

Fitkidz has been holding a host of sporting activities across the Whitecross and Dallam area during the school holidays for children aged between five and 17.

Sessions include climbing, touch rugby and cheerleading.

Last week some youngsters took up the challenge to create and lead a sports session for younger children and spent the day devising the activities before taking children aged between five to 10.

Sessions still run until Sunday and are open to children aged between seven and 17, unless otherwise stated.

Today, Thursday, there will be bowling at LA Bowl at 1pm and a basketball session at Bewsey Park at 3pm, while a street dance session at Dallam Children’s Centre takes place tomorrow, Friday, at 4pm.

On Sunday there will be a sports day at Dallam Children’s Centre from 11am for youngsters aged from five to 17.

For more information on the group, who also run sessions during term time, call 07740 075798 or e-mail fitkidzwarrington@live.co.uk.
