CHILDREN at Burtonwood Primary School have been learning how to ‘use their loaf’ in a road safety campaign launched by Warburtons.
The bakers presented pupils with new high-visibility jackets as part of the company’s programme.
Mike Mason, Warburtons business development manager, visited Green Lane to donate the luminous jackets, which are designed to help keep the youngsters safe when walking in the village.
He said: “We are always looking for ways to support the community, especially initiatives which promote health and safety – something which is very close to our hearts.”
