DEVELOPER Crosby Lend Lease has donated an engraved bench to the Oughtrington Community Orchard.
Based close to their latest Beechwood development in the village, the orchard has been established for more than 100 years and is a vital part of the community.
It has been awarded a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to enable the restoration and regeneration of the garden with the aim being to provide a community park and nature reserve.
Crosby Lend Lease has already donated an all-weather gazebo to the orchard to be used for community events for many years to come.
