A TEACHING programme introduced in a Thelwall school has been praised for its impact.
Staff at Chaigeley School on Lymm Road used the Teacher Learing Academy to help develop their lessons.
And in an independent report from the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) it was praised for increasing enjoyment and results of pupils.
Drew Crawshaw, head teacher at the school, said: “I have been really pleased with the outcome because it is building a professional learning community within the school, with people working together and sharing ideas.
“Teachers working with the TLA have increased confidence and part of the process is about encouraging them to reflect and share their learning with colleagues and even teachers from other schools in the area.”
