I enjoy reading what makes Warrington proud ( a brilliant idea Mr Broomhead!)I'm not native to Warrington in fact I arrived here some 11 years ago and have now made it my home.

Warrington is a great place to bring up a family, there is something lovely about the people who live here. They are kind and generous and know when to rally round and give support especially for worthy causes such as baby Bobby.

As charity of the year we have been thinking what can we do to not only mark this fabulous achievement but to give something back to our community for future generations and this is where we would love your help.

We want to create a purpose built lifeskills Academy for Warrington. The Academy will offer many unique features and include a number of linked projects, it will be an independent locally resourced, remaining firmly rooted in the community. This project owned and responsive to the Warrington community. Offering a range of practical help and support as well as providing a safe place for young people. it will address family conflicts and deal with issues to prevent further problems.

Please join us on our plan over the next twelve months to make this happen. We need anyone who can fundraise to purchase the building- so if your not sure which charity to sponsor- help us!! We needed donations for prizes and people to help us put on events, if you can help us with our events programme we would love to hear from you.

Every week i will keep you updated on our progress. So go on make the call and contributer to what makes us proud of Warrington.
