AN interactive exhibition at Warrington Museum into the history of Peru has been shortlisted for a national award.
The Mr Smithies and Lost Tombs of Peru display has been nominated in the limited budget category of the Museum & Heritage Awards for Excellence.
Judges were impressed by the team work and thought that went into the interactive exhibition which is now the most popular exhibitions of recent times.
Janice Hayes, museum manager, said: “This acknowledgement is great news for us here at the museum. The nomination is a reflection of all the hard work put in by the staff, it was a real team effort.”
The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony in London in May.
