LIVERPOOL Reserves closed the gap on Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers at the foot of the Barclays Premier Reserve League North table after a 1-1 draw in Morecambe on Monday night.
They were heading for a second successive defeat until Brazilian Vitor Flora stepped off the bench to strike a late equaliser. Carlos Villanueva had handed Blackburn the lead with a rasping second-half shot.
Liverpool are now one point adrift at the bottom with just three games remaining - their next game being at home to Bolton on April 20.
