SCHOOLCHILDREN at Longbarn Community Primary School were determined to show their commitment to the community with a litter pick last weekend.
The school is earmarked for closure under Warrington Borough Council’s primary review but pupils, teachers and residents have been fighting the plans.
Last Saturday they held a litter pick in the area around the Fallowfield Grove school to demonstrate how much the school serves the community.
On Friday the pupils also held their spring assembly where they celebrated animals living in their nature area.
