TWO Warrington Churches will be giving away thousands of eggs in the town centre today, Saturday.
Oasis Warrington and King’s Church will give the eggs away along with a card carrying the message: “We hope this small gift brings a little light into your day. It’s a simple way of saying God loves you… no strings attached.”
Oasis Warrington’s pastor, Mike McMahon said: “Easter is the celebration of the most incredible gift ever: The life of Jesus Christ given as a ransom for ours.
“We wanted to do something small that illustrates that love in a simple and practical way.
“The eggs are a free gift to anyone and we expect nothing back except that people receive the gift.”
