LOUISE Park, from Connexions, said: “The dedication and hard work these young people have put in proves that not only can young people leaving care achieve, it also proves that they are ambitious and should be given the same opportunities as any other young person.”
The three women will all have achieved ASDAN qualifications during the intensive course. They have also learned life-changing skills in additional to personal development sessions.
All of the youngsters on the programme have formed a fundraising group to raise money for a Lifeskills Academy. The group will benefit children, teenagers and young adults who live in Warrington.
The Relationships Centre is enouraging residents to help make this happen.
