MEMBERS of the crew from Warrington’s submarine will be in town this weekend.
Commander Ryan Ramsey and 18 members of the crew will visit the town for the first time since November 2007.
Commander Ramsey said: “I view this visit, and our affiliation with Warrington, as a very important link.
“Not only is it an excellent opportunity for the public to meet the Royal Navy and leanr more about what we do, it gives the crew the chance to see the good work that is done by both the Sea Cadets and the borough in influencing the lives of so many young people in such a positive way.”
The crew will visit TS Obdurate on Friday night on Wilderspool Causeway for the awards evening and will also present a cheque to Mayor Clr Graham Welborn for this year’s charity on Saturday.
