A PENSIONERS group celebrated its anniversary in style after reaching 25 years of business.
Warrington Pensioners (north west) marked the event with a party that saw the last three known original founding committee members recognised for their long service.
The branch was originally set up by a group of retired trade unionists linking with the north west pensioner movement campaigning for their rights.
In the past 25 years they have seen membership rise and campaigned against means testing and pensioner poverty.
