THOUSANDS of guests galloped over to Arley Hall and Gardens to enjoy the Horse Trials and Country Fair weekend.
This year, the trials attracted a record 500 competitors while fans of the fair were entertained by medieval jousting.
Food aficionados were also treated to some of the country’s finest produce in the popular food marquee, with 23 companies offering everything from the sweetest fudge to the hottest curries.
Event organiser Helen Glover said: “The weekend was a huge success, and the number of people attending is well up on previous years.
“It’s always pleasing to see the stunning grounds at Arley transformed for the event and we are already looking forward to next year’s show.”
