SOUL singer Beverley Knight capped off a week to remember in Warrington when she drew the north west’s first fashion week to a close.
Lucky competition winners and VIP guests gathered for the star-studded finale at the old fish market.
The chart topper played all her hit singles like Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Piece Of My Heart and told the crowd she used to rock with the people of Warrington in Mr Smith’s nightclub.
Earlier in the night, top models choreographed by Vicky Jackson, whose credits include St Trinian’s and Bollywood films, showcased the high street fashion favourites from the Golden Square Shopping Centre in a series of catwalks.
The closing party was the final event in a week of fashion, pampering and style sessions to mark a year since the revamped Golden Square mall opened.
David Allinson, general manager of Golden Square, said: “Hosting North West Fashion Week confirms that Golden Square is a top fashion destination that the people of Warrington can be proud of.”
