IN the ever crowded world of Christmas days out, what do you do if you want to go to a light trail and a panto but have limited time?
Well Knowsley Safari might have the answer.
The popular attraction is relaunched its Enchanted Christmas event.
But for the first time, it has a Santo Panto too, with each child getting a cuddly toy.
The event launched to the public on Saturday and runs right through until Monday, December 23.
And visitors are guaranteed a great night out.
The classic light trail includes a moving polar bear, twinkly light tunnel, a brilliant shadow puppet area as well illuminated lions, giraffes, deer, squirrels and more through the woods.
The is even a rainbow road and the ever popular Talking Tree.
While a Christmas village gives children the chance to write a letter to Santa and toast a marshmallow.
All the while the rides are open and if you arrive as it gets dark, you will be hard-pressed to get through everything before it is time to take the little ones to bed.
The highlight for us was the Santa Panto.
While this might be an extra cost, it is well worth it. Held inside in a mini-theatre, it features all the fun of the panto (think cheesy jokes, songs and slapstick fun) and in a short version kids will love.
It was brilliant entertainment, and there is a soft toy present for the kids to.
It runs several times during each evening.
Enchanted tickets are available now, from £10, with special discounts for members. Under 1s and carers are free.
Santa Panto tickets are available to Enchanted ticket holders at a cost of £10 per child and £5 per adult. Access to Enchanted is from 4pm until 8pm. Santa’s Grotto tickets (weekend daytime only) are £20 per child, in addition to a regular Safari admission ticket. Guests are advised to book early due to demand via knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk/events/enchanted.
