DOES watching couples ice skating and toasting marshmallows by the fire make you feel more single than ever at this time of year?

If the answer is yes, then you may want to sign yourself up for this exciting ‘fast flirting’ speed dating event coming to Warrington this December.

Activity Angels CIC is hosting a speed dating evening in Dorado Lounge, Golden Square, next Thursday (December 12).

This is a one-off event to raise some funds back into its cause, whilst following its mission to help combat loneliness in our town.

The organisation hosts group activity sessions in different venues around Warrington.

Sessions are for adults of all ages and have a main aim to help people connect and reduce feelings of loneliness within our community. 

And this Fast-Flirting event will give locals the chance to meet new faces in an evening of fun and entertainment.

Megan Hems, community activity lead, and organiser of the event said: “We are super excited to bring Warrington this special night.

“Lots of planning and preparations has gone into ensuring everyone will feel welcome, and enjoy a lovely evening meeting new people locally.

“Spreadsheets galore have been designed, so that we can ensure everyone gets their speed dating results and any matches sent across after our event as smoothly as possible.

“There’ll be free Prosecco on arrival, and we’re also holding a Christmas raffle with fantastic prizes on the night too. We can’t wait to welcome everyone.”

Tickets are available for just £10.50 per person. All proceeds go to Activity Angels CIC to help keep their community groups stay alive.
