THE days on which bins will be emptied in Warrington over the Christmas and New Year period have been revealed.
Warrington Borough Council has published the changes being made to bin collection schedules over the festive period and over the start of 2025.
This time of year often sees disruption to collection timetables due to bank holidays in December and January.
It is especially the case this year due to bank holidays occurring midweek rather than on a weekend.
As such, the day on which your bin is usually emptied may have changed, so make sure you are aware of the following changes.
A council spokesman said: “There will be updated bin collection dates over Christmas.
“With all three of the festive bank holidays in midweek this year, there are some changes to most bin collection days.
“Please share these with your friends and neighbours.”
