THE M6 in Warrington is currently ‘partially blocked’ and there are delays of one hour and 20 minutes.
This is due to a broken-down vehicle on the M6 from junction 22, Winwick Link Road, to junction 21A, Croft.
It is the southbound carriageway that is partially blocked.
Commuters are being warned of ‘severe delays’.

Elsewhere in Cheshire, there are separate ‘severe delays’ on the M6.
On the M6 northbound near junction 19, Knutsford, there are nine miles of queues following a crash between a van and a car which resulted in a diesel spill.
All traffic on this section of the motorway was temporarily held twice following the incident.
