Woolston
Residents say Woolston is the best place to live in the town. This is for a variety of reasons, including its schools, churches and outside spaces.
One person said they were born in Woolston and have also raised their children there.
Great Sankey/Chapelford
“The clue is in the name, ‘great’,” said one person.
Chapelford is also described as a lovely and quiet place to live. Christmas also looks lovely in Chapelford, say residents.
Stockton Heath
But the village is the best place to live, according to some people.
Stockton Heath is ‘vibrant’ with a ‘lovely community’.
Residents here say there are great restaurants, great dog walks and it is a stones throw from rural, but is also close to motorway links.
Cinnamon Brow
There is a great community in Cinnamon Brow as well as nice, dog friendly pubs, plenty of walks, and friendly residents. It is also close to motorway links too, say residents.
“I have lived in Thelwall, Latchford, Stockton Heath, Great Sankey and Cinnamon Brow. Cinnamon Brow is by far my favourite place to live in Warrington,” said one resident.
Birchwood
Friendly people and a variety of amenities make Birchwood great.
One person said: “My son lives in Birchwood so I visit regularly and I have to say it’s fantastic, close to amenities and the people seem very friendly.”
There are also lots of lovely walk and it is close enough to town, according to another resident.
Burtonwood
From one person who has lived all over Warrington, Burtonwood is the best place to call home.
“I’ve found Burtonwood to be the nicest place to live hence the reason I stayed,” they said.
Walton
It is known for being home to the popular beauty spot that is Walton Hall and Gardens.
Locals say Walton is the best place to live as it is lovely, quiet, and has a good pub.
Longford
“Amazing community spirit and good people,” one person said about Longford.
They say that Longford is the best place to live and they are proud that they grew up there.
Another person said there is nowhere as friendly as Longford.
Appleton
‘Leafy Appleton’ is the best place to live for some.
It is a great place for children to grow up, one person said whose family have lived there for generations.
It is also a good place to live because it is quiet, others say.
Those who have more from the area miss its drinking water.
