A WARRINGTON MP paid a visit to a local primary school to hear about what improvements the pupils would like to see in Warrington.
St Barnabas CE Primary School was joined by Warrington South MP Sarah Hall and councillor Nathan Sudworth as part of UK Parliament Week, last week.
Members of the School Parliament had the opportunity to find out about the work of Parliament and the local council and discussed some of the issues they want to see improved in their local area.
Leader of the School Parliament and teacher, Kieran Silver, thanked the MP and the councillor for their insightful visit.
Mr Silver said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Sarah and Nathan for spending their time at our school and helping our children learn about the way government shapes life in the UK.
“At St Barnabas, we encourage our children to be courageous advocates and think about how they can make their local and global communities a better place.
“Sarah and Nathan’s visit was a wonderful opportunity for them to do share their thoughts and inspired lots of ideas of projects to make a difference in the local area.”
