A digital project and programme consultancy has acquired an AI-driven technology and digital consultancy.

Proicere, based in Centre Park in Warrington, has taken over Marlow-based Physical2Digital (P2D), which collaborates with a number of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 corporations.

The expanded business has been rebranded Proicere Digital.

Proicere Digital will utilise P2D’s expertise in AI, automation, and data solutions to assist clients in various sectors, including retail, food and drink, logistics, manufacturing, education, and construction.

They aim to simplify operations and enhance organisational outcomes with solutions like AI-driven data analytics, digital transformation strategies, cloud services, and enterprise IT operations.

P2D has already supported several global companies, proving their ability to drive efficiency and optimise operations.

They have implemented complex data management programmes for global supply chains and devised the first post-Brexit food product passports system for retailer Marks & Spencer.

The acquisition will also bring generative AI, automation, and data analytics capabilities to the company’s existing digital project controls services.

Proicere currently collaborates with clients on large-scale complex projects and programmes, including the Sellafield nuclear site.

As part of Proicere Digital, P2D’s services will continue to support clients across these sectors and look to expand into new regions like the Middle East, Australia, and the Americas.

Karl Dooner, CEO of Proicere Digital, said: "Our expanded capabilities, thanks to P2D’s digital services, will provide real-time insights and predictive analytics to businesses, ensuring they can anticipate market shifts and meet customer demands more effectively.

"We’re excited to bring these innovative solutions to our clients in retail, logistics, food and drink, and manufacturing sectors."

Digital transformation is becoming increasingly important for businesses wanting to maintain their competitive edge and adapt to changing market demands.

Proicere Digital’s offerings will assist businesses in adopting advanced technologies to improve decision-making, customer experiences, and supply chains.

By using P2D’s digital expertise, Proicere Digital aims to help businesses harness AI and automation for greater efficiency.

Suresh Sadanandan, CTO of Proicere Digital (former CEO of P2D), said: "With our integrated services, we can offer solutions that simplify complexity and drive operational excellence.

"This merger of solutions strengthens our ability to help businesses improve their digital capabilities and future-proof their operations."

Operating from their Warrington and Marlow locations, Proicere Digital aims to continue building strong relationships with current clients while positioning itself for significant global growth.

With the addition of P2D’s capabilities, Proicere Digital is now set to lead in both infrastructure project controls and business-focused digital transformation services across multiple industries.

Kurt Metcalf, associate director of digital at Proicere Digital, said: "We’re committed to helping businesses across various sectors adopt the latest technology to solve complex challenges and achieve operational efficiency.

"Together, Proicere Digital and P2D will provide our clients with the tools they need to stay ahead of the competition and drive meaningful results."
