THE first act to perform at Haydock Park Racecourse next summer has been confirmed.
Two-time BRIT Award winner Becky Hill will make her Haydock Park debut on Friday, August 8, with a full headline set after racing.
She is the first music event announced by the racecourse for its popular summer live season, which will return in 2025.
Becky has secured 22 top-40 singles and billions of streams, consistently featuring in the top-10 with hits including ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’ with Oliver Heldens, ‘Wish You Well’ with Sigala and ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’ with David Guetta and Ella Henderson.
In 2024, Becky has toured extensively, with Radio 1’s Big Weekend, a headline set at Manchester’s Parklife and her debut European headline tour among the many highlights.
Last month, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter sold out her biggest UK Arena shows to date, including OVO Arena Wembley.
On the announcement, she said: “Playing summer shows is one of my absolute favourite things to do.
“I cannot wait to see you all at Haydock Park Racecourse on Friday, August 8. Let’s have a party.”
Haydock Park hosted a trio of shows this summer, attracting more than 25,000 music and racing fans to the course.
The first north west Jockey Club Live show for 2025 was revealed last month, with Merseyside band Red Rum Club set to headline their biggest hometown show to date on Friday, May 16, at Aintree Racecourse.
Molly Day, general manager of Haydock Park Racecourse, said: “We are so excited to be welcoming Becky and her phenomenal live show to Haydock Park.
“Tickets start from just £40, continuing our reputation for providing a value for money entertainment destination for Merseyside and beyond.
“With thousands of tickets for Red Rum Club sold in the pre-sale alone, we are urging fans to secure their spot for next summer soon to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets for Becky Hill at Haydock Park Racecourse will be on sale at 10am this Friday, November 29, via thejockeyclublive.co.uk
A pre-sale will be available to customers at 10am this Wednesday, November 27.
Jockey Club Live says further live concerts after racing will be held at racecourses across the country, including Haydock, and people are urged to keep an eye out for future announcements.
