POLICE are appealing for any information surrounding an early hours burglary in which a car was stolen.
This morning, Friday, Cheshire Police received reports of a burglary at an address on Poplars Avenue in Orford.
The caller reported that the incident had occurred overnight, during the early hours of the morning.
During the incident, access was gained to the property and car keys were stolen, with a white Volkswagen Golf Type-R subsequently stolen from outside the address.
Officers investigating the burglary are now appealing for anyone with any information or video footage to get in touch with them.
DS Christian Gordon said: “Firstly, we would like to reassure the community that we are committed to doing all we can to trace whoever may be responsible for this incident.
“To aid our enquiries, we would like to appeal to anyone with any CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage from Poplars Avenue, particularly between the hours of 1.30am and 3.15am, to get in touch with us.
“We would also like to ask anyone with any information, or who may have seen anything suspicious, to contact us.”
