THERE was a large police presence on a residential street in Warrington due to reports of 'suspicious activity'
Police swarmed Queens Avenue in Bruche at around 10.26pm yesterday evening, Thursday.
This was after a caller reported they believed "a small group of individuals were trying to gain access to vehicles".
Officers attended the scene and conducted a search of the area, including the nearby park, but the suspects were not traced.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed enquiries "remain ongoing" into the incident.
