A TOWN centre restaurant is giving away free cocktails this week – and here is how you can get one.
The Botanist will be giving away free festive cocktails this week, and all you have to do is find one of 10 tinsel-filled Christmas baubles to be hidden near its Times Square location.
Cocktail lovers wanting to secure a free drink should head to the Warrington Botanist Facebook page from midday on Friday, where hints will be revealed about when and where to find the prizes.
The lucky winners will find a gift tag attached to the bauble to be exchanged at the Botanist for the bar’s new sharing drink – a Christmas tree holding six Blooming Bauble cocktails for groups of friends to get merry over.
This comes as part of a nationwide Botanist campaign which will see the chain give away 1,500 cocktails across the country.
The restaurant has also released its new Christmas menu, which may tempt a visit even if you miss out on a free drink.
Highlights on the menu include a dirty turkey burger complete with oozy camembert fritter, crispy bacon, rocket and festive chutney.
Another is a chocolate orange cookie dough for two, topped with mini mince pies and ice cream snowmen.
The Botanist is also offering a Christmas set menu from £26.95 per person which will include orange and cranberry glazed turkey, ham, stuffing balls and pigs-in-blankets on a skewer, with traditional sides of roast potatoes, parsnips, sprouts and glazed carrots, complete with gravy.
Other seasonal offerings can be found on the drinks menu, which features the s ’mores old fashioned with Maker’s Mark bourbon, orange curaçao, cold brew coffee, orange bitters and creamy foam over ice with a chocolate and Biscoff rim, topped with toasted marshmallows.
If you can still move after all that, there will be time for dancing too, as the restaurant will have live music every Friday and Saturday night throughout the festive period.
