A TINY puppy with a health issue is now in the care of an animal charity.
Bruce is a pug who was born on Saturday night with a cleft palate.
In the early hours of this morning, Thursday, Warrington Animal Welfare was contacted by an out-of-hours vet who needed urgent help for Bruce who had been brought in by his breeder.
The tiny puppy is now safe in foster care and is getting all of the love and care he deserves.
Although he is doing well currently, he will need surgery in the near future to help him thrive.
“We’re so proud to have been able to step in and give Bruce a fighting chance, and we know our amazing supporters will join us in wishing him well on his journey,” a spokesperson for the charity said.
No adoption enquiries are being taken yet as right now, WAW is focusing on getting Bruce the car he needs.
“Keep him in your thoughts, and we’ll keep you updated on his progress,” a spokesperson for WAW added.
