A NEW Domino’s pizza takeaway will open in a Warrington village next week – with free pizza available.

The American international chain has confirmed the opening date of its new Lymm venue.

Warrington Borough Council approved plans for the takeaway on Pepper Street in January.

This was despite residents raising concerns in letters of objection over obesity, traffic, litter, the impact on the street scene, equipment noise and anti-social behaviour.

Now, Domino’s has confirmed that the Lymm venue will have a grand opening on Monday, November 25.

Residents have been promised ‘delicious pizza, hand-made with fresh dough, vine-ripened tomato sauce and always 100 per cent mozzarella.

This latest opening is part of an ambition of SK Group, Domino’s largest franchise partner, to open 10 new stores ahead of Christmas, creating 250 jobs nationwide.

The Lymm store will be open seven days-a-week, from 11am to 11pm, and it is currently recruiting for roles including shift managers, pizza-makers and delivery drivers.

For those looking to make some extra ‘dough’, Domino's Lymm is offering flexible working shifts to fit around existing schedules, with many training and progression opportunities.

Ricky Kandola, operations director at SK Group, said: “We are excited to open a store in the picturesque village of Lymm to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

“As we come into the busiest and most wonderful time of the year, we are also delighted to have Lymm as part of the 10 new stores we are opening across the country ahead of Christmas.

“We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Lymm can grow and develop their careers.

“More than 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you are looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The store is celebrating with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday at 11am, where community members and customers are invited to meet the new store team and, of course, try some freshly prepared Domino’s pizza.

The store will be giving out free personal pizzas with special golden postcards on the opening day, as well as a free cookie with every collection order during opening week.

Lymm residents can also enjoy scrumptious deals, including 50 per cent off pizza with no minimum spend by using the code GOGET50%, and two topping deals from £3.99 on collection orders.
