IT may only be November, but this house in Warrington will certainly get you in the Christmas spirit.

Sarah Haywood and her partner Mark Abernethy have transformed the outside of their home on Mersey Walk into a festive grotto.

An inflatable Father Christmas can be spotted, as well as The Grinch, a snowman and a huge gingerbread man.

The house is also covered in festive lights.

Sarah and Mark, who are expecting a little boy in March, put their lights up early for their children.

The pair also work at Morrisons on Greenall’s Avenue, which is where they met just over two years ago, and last week was their last time off together before the Christmas rush.

Their hard work in transforming the house has already been recognised by residents from across the town, despite them only decorating yesterday, Sunday.

Posting a video of their home in a community group on Facebook, one person said: “This Latchford Mersey Walk home has an amazing display that even beats the town centre’s.

“Respect to whoever has done this, wow.

“Well worth wrapping the kids up and having a wander round to get them in the Christmas spirit.”

People have also thanked Sarah and Mark for their ‘fantastic’ and ‘amazing’ efforts.
