FIREFIGHTERS will be carrying out free safety checks on cars before the cold weather sets in.
Drivers are invited to come down to Sainsbury’s Chapelford on Sunday, November 17, from 1pm to 3pm.
Officers from Warrington West Beat Team are joining forces with Cheshire Fire and Rescue firefighters from Penketh fire station to ensure vehicles are ready for winter.

A 1964 Police Panda car will be there for children to see.
Plenty of free goodies will be handed out.
Free bike marking and registrations on the Bike Register database will also be available.
The event is being held to kick start Brake, the road safety charity’s Road Safety Week.
