IT feels wrong to talk about Christmas in November.
But that all changes after a visit to a festive light trail at Dunham Massey.
The popular event has returned to Cheshire and as usual, it is as magical as ever.
The trail consists of masses of twinkling lights, magnificent installations and seasonal music.
Everyone’s favourite classics remain, such as the huge reindeers at the entrance and the enchanting light tunnel. And of course Father Christmas himself is there.
But there are fantastic new additions this year, including a star-filled tunnel, glittering lights across the lake, and plenty more Christmas themed lights.
The trail stands out from the many others due to it being packed with mesmerising lights. It feels like there really is no expense spared.
You can complete your walk under the stars with a festive drink or a seasonable snack from the hand-picked street food vendors.
Christmas at Dunham Massey is certainly an event that should not be missed on your festive calendar.
The trail opens from today, Friday, to January 1.
