ONE man has been arrested following an assault in Warrington, with officers appealing for more information.
At 1.50pm on Tuesday, there was an altercation between a group of people on Marsh Street in Padgate.
During the incident, a man was assaulted by another man.
The victim then left in a car prior to police arriving, and officers are trying to locate him and the car.
The car’s rear window was smashed during the assault.
Police are appealing for CCTV and dashcam footage of the incident, as well as of the car leaving the area.
A Cheshire Police spokespersons said: “As part of enquiries into the incident a 39-year-old man has been arrested.
“Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML 1961317.
“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
