A ‘MAGICAL’ Christmas event will take place outside of Warrington Town Hall.
It promises not to disappoint, with a range of festive activities, entertainment, crafts and treats for the whole family to enjoy.
It is being hosted by Friends of Warrington Town Hall on November 30 from 11am to 3.30pm.
Father Christmas himself will be there, but there is not all.
Here’s a glimpse at what the day will entail:
- Meet Father Christmas and receive a small gift for £3.50 per child.
- Wreath Making with ceramic artist, Debs Podmore - to book your place visit here.
- Christmas table and door decorations with the council’s parks and woodlands team.
- Entertainment from Warrington Brass Band, Red Notes Choir, the U3A Shanty Singers and as always, the wonderful Beautiful Noise Choir.
- Pop-up café in the council chamber where tea, coffee and home-made cakes will be on offer.
- The chance to get on board one of Warrington’s brand-new electric buses.
- Cheshire Police Museum
- Bike marking (bring your bike with you for this free service)
Cllr Jean Flaherty, deputy leader of Warrington Borough Council, said: “We’re delighted to bring Christmas back to the Town Hall once again this year. To welcome people of all generations through our doors is just wonderful and it has become a very special Christmas tradition for many families, who return year on year.
“A lot of time and dedication goes into the preparation of this event, and I’d like to thank everyone for their time, donations and commitment to make the event happen. Make sure you come along, meet Santa, and share a magical Christmas event with us, as we gear up for the big day.”
It will take place in the west courtyard next to the Town Hall.
