A MAN died after consuming ‘significant amounts’ of alcohol and illicit drugs, an inquest heard.
John Jackson sadly died at Warrington Hospital on July 13, 2023.
An inquest into the 50-year-old’s death took place on Wednesday at Cheshire Coroner’s Court.
Here, it was heard how he had been brought into Warrington Hospital on July 13 after he was found collapsed.
The court was also told how Mr Jackson, of Orford, had consumed ‘significant amounts of alcohol and illicit drug’ days before his death.
Senior coroner for Cheshire Jaqueline Devonish ruled that Mr Jackson’s medical cause of death was multi organ failure due to cardiac arrest due to drug overdose.
Ms Devonish extended her condolences to Mr Jackon’s family.
