A SERIES of residential streets in Orford are set to be closed for resurfacing work.
Warrington Borough Council has published a Road Traffic Regulation Act notice imposing a prohibition of driving and clearway.
The roads in question are the entire lengths of Canberra Square, Meteor Crescent, Sandalwood Close, Buttermere Crescent and Honister Avenue.
It also covers part of Mardale Avenue, from the junction with Penrith Avenue to the junction with Scafell Avenue.
The order will be effective from December 2 for eight weeks, between 8.30am and 5.30pm, as and when signed on site.
No works will take place from December 21 to January 5 due to Christmas and New Year.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
A council spokesman said: “The restrictions are required for road or footway surfacing.”
