GULLIVER'S World has opened its Land of Lights trail.
For the second year, the Old Hall theme park is opening its doors after dark to take visitors on a magical trip surrounded by lights and music.
So we gave it a try before it opens to the public from tomorrow, Saturday.
The trail debuted last year and while there are some similarities, for the most part, this is a new trail with plenty of attractions to enjoy.
As you head along the mile-long walk, there are distinct worlds you explore as make your way around.
Magical fairies, Santa's grotto, Day of the Dead Mexican displays, African animals and frozen landscapes among them.
There are also lasers and live entertainment from performers.
Kids will also love the fact the playgrounds are open and some of the rides too.
And one of the mazes leads to a large illuminated giraffe if they need to burn off some more energy.
The light trail market is certainly saturated at this time of year. Chester Zoo, Dunham Massey, Luminate (which was at Walton Gardens but has moved to Arley) and the RHS are just some within half an hour's drive.
But the Gulliver's one is different.
It is more in your face. The colours are bold, the creations enormous at points and some of them move.
And while there are festive elements, this is not solely Christmas-focused.
Yet all the favourites you expect are there.
Mulled wine, hot chocolate and the chance to toast marshmallows (the first one is free).
There is also a range of food if you need your tea. And as it is Gulliver's, there are plenty of picnic tables to sit and eat.
Land of Lights received national recognition walking away as winner of the gold award for best new event at the UK Theme Park Awards.
And expect it to do well again at next year's awards.
The festival opens to the public on Saturday, November 9 and will run until January 4, 2025
